1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how LeadGendary Services LLC ("OpenEdge", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use OpenEdge (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • (a) Account Information: email address, hashed password, and, when you sign in with Google, the basic profile fields Google returns (name, email, avatar URL).
  • (b) Video Content: video files or URLs you submit for hook extraction and any generated outputs.
  • (c) Billing Information: subscription tier, transaction history, and payment metadata handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • (d) Usage Data: log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and interactions with the Service.
  • (e) Cookies and Similar Technologies: used for authentication, session management, and basic analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • (a) To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including processing submitted videos for hook extraction and rebuilding;
  • (b) To authenticate users, manage accounts, and administer subscriptions and billing;
  • (c) To communicate with you regarding account activity, security alerts, and service updates;
  • (d) To monitor, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
  • (e) To comply with legal obligations, including responding to valid DMCA notices and lawful requests from authorities.

4. Video Content and Temporary Processing

OpenEdge processes uploaded video files on a strictly temporary basis for the sole purpose of hook extraction and video rebuilding. Original uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing completion. Processed outputs (hook clips and rebuilt videos) are hosted on third-party cloud storage (Cloudinary) and are accessible via unique URLs for a limited period as specified in your subscription tier. OpenEdge does not retain, sell, redistribute, broadcast, or claim ownership of any user-submitted content.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable law (such as the EU GDPR or UK GDPR) requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract when providing the Service you requested; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; (c) compliance with legal obligations; and (d) your consent, where required (for example, for optional communications).

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • (a) Service Providers: vendors that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, media storage such as Cloudinary, authentication providers such as Google, payment processors, and analytics providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • (b) Legal and Safety: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OpenEdge, our users, or the public, including in response to valid DMCA notices.
  • (c) Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality safeguards.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Google (authentication), Cloudinary (media hosting), and our payment processor. Your use of those services is subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

8. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Uploaded originals are deleted within 24 hours of processing. Processed outputs are retained for the period specified in your subscription tier. Upon account termination, associated processed files are deleted.

9. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credentials — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • (a) Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you;
  • (b) Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal information;
  • (c) Request a portable copy of your personal information;
  • (d) Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • (e) Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

OpenEdge is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data-protection laws.

13. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.
