Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OpenEdge (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and LeadGendary Services LLC ("OpenEdge", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

OpenEdge is an AI-powered video hook extraction and optimization tool. Users upload video files they own or have rights to, and the Service analyzes the content to identify, extract, and reposition the most effective hook moment for use in video content distribution. The Service returns a processed hook clip and/or a rebuilt video file for the User to download.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

4. Content Ownership and Copyright — CRITICAL

This section is the most important part of these Terms. By uploading any video file or submitting any video URL to OpenEdge, you represent, warrant, and agree to the following:

  • (a) You are the original creator and copyright owner of the submitted content, OR you hold a valid license or explicit written permission from the copyright owner to use, process, and distribute the content;
  • (b) You will NOT submit content that belongs to another creator, brand, artist, musician, broadcaster, news organization, sports league, or any other rights holder without explicit written authorization from that rights holder;
  • (c) You acknowledge that uploading copyrighted content you do not own is a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), applicable international copyright law, and these Terms, and may expose you to civil and criminal liability;
  • (d) OpenEdge processes submitted video files temporarily for the sole purpose of hook extraction and does not permanently store, redistribute, broadcast, or claim ownership of any user-submitted content;
  • (e) You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OpenEdge, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your submission of content you do not own or have rights to.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:
  • (a) Submit, upload, or process video content that you do not own or do not have explicit rights to;
  • (b) Circumvent, remove, alter, or interfere with any copyright protection measures;
  • (c) Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law;
  • (d) Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service;
  • (e) Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service beyond its intended functionality;
  • (f) Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the Service or its outputs in a manner that violates these Terms.

6. Temporary Processing and Data Deletion

OpenEdge processes all uploaded video files on a temporary basis. Original uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing completion. Processed outputs (hook clips and rebuilt videos) are hosted on third-party cloud storage (Cloudinary) and are accessible via unique URLs for a limited period as specified in your subscription tier. OpenEdge does not retain, sell, or share your video content with third parties.

7. DMCA Compliance and Takedown Policy

OpenEdge respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects Users to do the same. We have registered a DMCA agent with the United States Copyright Office. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been processed through our Service without authorization, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing content; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief; and (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and take appropriate action, including removal of infringing content and termination of repeat infringer accounts.

8. Subscription, Billing, and Refunds

OpenEdge offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. OpenEdge reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers. Failure to pay subscription fees will result in downgrade to the free Starter tier.

9. Termination

OpenEdge reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, particularly Section 4 (Content Ownership and Copyright). Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and any processed files associated with your account will be deleted.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. OpenEdge does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpenEdge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to OpenEdge in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Brevard County, Florida.

13. Changes to Terms

OpenEdge reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
